Coming from a multicultural back- ground, I have always been fasci- nated by the unique styles of fash- ion seen across different regions and continents of the world. In my de- signs, I try to incorporate elements I observe from different cultures and traditions. The unique garments, materials, traditions and techniques used across different regions and continents of the world inspire me in my designs.
Classic tailoring and menswear styles are central in my work. I experiment with known menswear shapes and forms to make my own interpetations of it. Utilizing clean cut, oversized, loose shapes in my designs. Blending formalwear with streetwear provides a sense of balance between the different parts of myself.
For me fashion is not only a means of self-expression but also a reflection of cultural identity and heritage. By incorporating elements from various cultures into my designs, I hope to promote greater cross-cultural un- derstanding and appreciation.
